Anne-Cécile Ville is an author, filmmaker, founder, and creative mind behind BF Media Lounge, a female-led entertainment studio building original IP across film, books, and digital platforms.
Originally from a small town in France…
Anne-Cécile began her creative career in London, where she transitioned from acting to screenwriting after discovering her true passion lay in shaping stories rather than performing them. She went on to develop multiple original projects that received industry recognition, including romantic comedy Dating Up (ScreenCraft Comedy Competition Quarterfinalist; Coverfly Pitch Week shortlist) and thriller E-BRAIN (Emerging Screenwriters Quarterfinalist).
In 2017, she relocated to Barcelona, where she expanded her storytelling into long-form fiction. Her debut novel, You Pull Me In (2019), explored psychological tension and coercive control, marking the beginning of her exploration into how narrative can both entertain and illuminate difficult truths.
Her second book, Reboot Your Story, combines storytelling, neuroscience, and reflective tools to help readers rethink personal narratives — reinforcing her belief that stories are not just entertainment, but frameworks through which we understand ourselves.
In May 2025, she founded BF Media Lounge to bring that philosophy into a scalable entertainment model. Through bold comedy, culturally sharp storytelling, and the unapologetic presence of Boris — the studio’s iconic eggplant mascot championing positive masculinity — Anne-Cécile is building a media brand designed to energise culture rather than exhaust it.
Her work blends humour with emotional precision, always aiming to turn up the positivity while challenging the narratives that limit women’s voices.
