“When I was a child, I was joyful, confident, smart, and I believed that life was wonderful. But as I grew older, I was told to tone it down and to curate or censor what I said. I learned to fit in and to water down what I truly yearned for. Overtime, I lost that spark that made me — me.
When perimenopause anxiety hit, my world went completely dark. I was on standby, waiting for a reboot.
