Founded in May 2025 by Author, Filmmaker, and Scriptwriter, Anne-Cécile Ville, BF Media Lounge (aka Boris & Friends Media Lounge) is an independent creative studio dedicated to reshaping narratives and challenging taboos that have held women back. Blending humor, emotional truth, and unapologetic storytelling, BFML creates original content that sparks conversation, inspires change, and champions authentic representation within women’s advocacy.

At its core is Boris: the studio’s cheeky, slightly eccentric eggplant mascot who playfully challenges toxic masculine stereotypes through radical positivity, reminding us that it really is all about the size of your…heart.

Rooted in the belief that stories are tools for healing, BF Media Lounge spans film, literature, and community-driven initiatives to “Turn Up The Positivity” within the cultural conversation. With 65% of the content we consume leaving audiences feeling negative, the studio is committed to creating work that uplifts rather than depletes. From feminist comedies to empowering nonfiction, each project is crafted to dismantle stigma, flip mainstream narratives on their head, and amplify women’s voices with courage and wit. 

BF Media Lounge’s projects include Reboot Your Story – the world’s first self-help book that combines storytelling, neuroscience, and reflective exercises with supplemental personalized AI prompts, built around six empowering elements—Rewrite, Adapt, Heal, Positivity, Connect, and Empower—to guide your journey toward emotional transformation; its companion tool, the Reboot Your Story - The Deep Reboot 6-Week Challenge, an online course including guided prompts, personal checklists, and supplemental audio and video to help you delve deeper into your journey; and The Penis Conundrum, a 2026 feminist comedy in production to explore sex, shame, and the unexpected arousal. 

Serving as a vibrant community platform where like-minded women can share their unique experiences and perspectives that don’t always get considered in mainstream media, BF Media Lounge is changing the narrative, one story at a time.
