Together, We Found Our Voice

From a very young age, women are taught what they should or shouldn’t say, and even what is safe to say.

When you navigate a world that wasn’t made for you, the mental gymnastics women go through before uttering a single word can be overwhelming. As Meryl Streep once said: “women speak men, but men don’t speak women.”

Oftentimes, and even without realizing it, we self-silence. But self-silencing isn’t without consequences. As a recent essay in TIME reported, Self-Silencing Is Making Women Sick. How many times have you bitten your tongue, played yourself down, or stayed quiet when you had something important to say?

As much as I love telling other people’s stories, I’ve always struggled to find the words to describe my own. When people asked about my achievements, I tended to play them down. Worse, sometimes I even forgot what I had achieved, which puzzled me. But when I listened to other women’s stories, I discovered they often did the same.

In Chapter One of Reboot Your Story, I explain how our words shape our reality. And when we don’t use them, we shrink our own story.

In June, I attended a presentation by New York PR agency Woke Media at Juno House. I was completely bowled over by how brilliant Jessica Poulin and her team were; bright, dynamic, and so smart. By the end of their talk, I was dying to work with them, but my first thought was that they were probably too good for me. I was fresh off the launch of Reboot Your Story at Juno House, and I decided not to let fear get in the way of my success. So I arranged a meeting with Jessica.

I shared my plans and vision for BF Media Lounge, and Jessica and her team immediately understood what I wanted to achieve. They agreed to partner with us. They helped me shape the narrative for myself, Boris, and the brand. Their credibility and clout gave my message strength, but more than that, their belief gave me courage.

In Chapter Five (Connect) of Reboot Your Story, I write that connections amplify our voices. This partnership proved it. As women, we achieve so much more when we create together.

Over the summer, we worked on the rebranding of BF Media Lounge. But this is more than a rebrand or a facelift to make us look good; this is a manifesto built on the principles that changed my life and eventually became Reboot Your Story:

  • Rewrite a new story for women.

  • Rewire how we think.

  • Heal as a way to reclaim our wounds.

  • Replace negativity with joy.

  • Connect, because we are stronger together.

  • Empower women with tools and confidence to rise.

And Boris? He is the playful symbol of fun and positivity who seeks to redefine masculinity, and the heart of BF Media Lounge (Boris & Friends Media Lounge!).

What we’re building is a movement and community, not just a studio. Expect to see:

  • Community — women sharing their stories.

  • Creative Content — films, books, courses.

  • Live Events — global touchpoints: Barcelona, Paris, London, Berlin, Miami, New York, Toronto, Los Angeles.

  • Ethical Production — values-driven, authentic work.

We’re starting with our flagship book, Reboot Your Story, now available on Amazon. Coming in November 2025: the 6-week Reboot Your Story Course and the Reboot Your Story Course and 2026 Goals bundle (the Big One!). And in Spring 2026: our first short film, The Penis Conundrum.

Silence may keep women small, but shared voices create transformation. Stories heal. Connection strengthens. Words empower. BF Media Lounge exists to help women rewrite their story and rise together.

This relaunch isn’t just about us. It’s about every woman who has ever silenced herself:

And remember: connections amplify voices. BF Media Lounge is an independent studio with BIG ambitions, and we THRIVE when women like YOU get behind us. So please follow, share, comment on our socials, buy the book, and support the movement.

We can’t wait to have you on board!

With love, Boris and Anne-Cécile
